I tested a few Linux distribution to determine which of them I can use to connect to my office remote desktop running Windows Xp with the help of the free Logmein application. I used Firefox available from the Linux distros that I tested. The Linux distros that I test- ed are mostly Live CDs or Live DVDs.
Worked out-of-the-box -Pardus 2007.2 (Kurulan). -Pardus 2007.2 (Calisan). -Pardus 2007.1 (Calisan). -Freespire_1.2.42. -Freespire_1.9.10 (Nightly builds 24July2007) -Yoper-3.0-TITANIUM-live. -openSUSE-10.2 GM i386, -Puppy Linux 2.17. -Puppy Linux 2.17.1. -Elive 1.0. -Business Edition Linux. -Sabayon Linux-x86-3.3.
