I tested a few Linux distributions on whether  they can support  my  Netgear WG511T

pcmcia  wlan  card  out-of-the-box.  This Netgear  WG511T pcmcia  wlan card  has

the atheros  chipset.  I plugged it  into my Dell Inspiron 600m notebook's pcmcia slot.

Supported out-of-the-box.

-Elive 1.0 Gem.

-Parsix 0.90.

-Backtrack 2.0.
